REVISED trades just before games 67-69 are OK but don't count for purposes of dump/replace. would make it hard to track. whoever your 69er is for games 67-69 will be dumped. which means if you are selecting first you can pit dibs on any other then active 69er. Thereafter you are free to move, dump trade as you wish as long as no more than one 69er at any time and only one.

if you dump but a player you were going to replace with hasn't been dumped you will not be penalized. COOPERATION REQD.

Yeah, I suppose there were no rules stating that we couldn't have Theme tentacles. By the 12th theme, I may have to submit the list to my corporate lawyer to help me decipher the assorted exhibits and sort out what I can and can't do.

I'll give you the Cliff Notes:

1 - Everyone needs a player from the '69 Mets (I'm assuming any Nolan Ryan card - for example - will be fine)....if not, please clarify
2 - before game 67 everyone needs to dump their designated "69 Met" player and pick a new one
3 - Foggy will administer a "draft" (worst to first in the current standings) to give preference on the new "'69 Met" you pick up

That's the jist of it. My only concern is being able to get this done in a timely fashion.

Pacoboy, my Cliff Notes (dating us) are slightly different than yours. My understanding of our founder's rule:

1 - Everyone needs exactly one player from the '69 Mets at all times (I'm assuming Tom Seaver '69 card counts towards this - for example - but Tom Seaver '71, '73, and '75 cards do not)....if not, please clarify.
2 - Immediately after Game 69, you must dump your current '69 Met and pick up a different one. Foggy will administer a "draft" (worst to first in the current standings) to give preference on the new "'69 Met" you pick up.
3 - You can trade or cut '69 Mets at any other point, as long as you always have one.
4 - Your team name must include "M E T S" as the only capital letters, and in that order.

Like Pacoboy, I have serious concerns about our collective ability to execute this 12-team draft between Games 69 and 70.

Each rule should be one feature. This is hard to state, but the idea is that you should not state a rule that is really two rules
