live draft would be safer but don't care either way.

Strat set up a league for us. The card set is called "ATG8 1964-present". You can find it in the "shuffle the deck" section of ATG8. However before you jump in it, I sent Strat an email tonight asking them to gut the stadiums and replace with one and only choice - Griffith '57. They were quick to form the player set, so I assume they'll fix the stadium tomorrow morning. Then, autodrafting will work well. Of course we'll have some preseason adjustments to make, such as dropping fielders who are ones, extra '69 Mets, etc.

There is no reason to dump the extra 69 mets. They're always out there for you to swap if you so choose

do we draft a 120 million team and cut it to 90 after draft runs, or start with 90 mil of our 120 mil payroll?

I don't play ATG. What are the numbers for Griffith 57?

RangerJoe - Every team must have a SP worth >$8M (I would have said 9M, but 8M should work with shuffle the deck below). Every team must have a SP worth between $7M-8M, every team must have a SP worth between $4M-6M. The remaining SP (including those for relief) must be worth <$3M

Clarification...does this mean no RP over 3m, meaning I'd have to throw Nen back, or just a SP who also has a relief rating?

Meat,

As I read Ranger Joe's rule, the remaining SP and SP/RP pitchers much be in this price range, even if you plan on using a SP/RP card as a reliever. There is no price restriction on pure relievers.

In this case, the Cold Shower comes after game 120, when each team will shrink it's payroll by $30,000,000 by dropping players, exchanging them or a combination thereof, provided changes don't take a team out of compliance with any of the other whacko rules of this silly-themed league.

Evan, how are we going to monitor this? My suggestion is to change your rule wording to as follows:
"... each team will shrink it's Roster Value to $90,000,000 or less by dropping... silly-themed league. The Roster Value must remain at $90,000,000 or less for the rest of the season."
How does this sound?

Before I figure out my poker cards, are we burning the top card of players with multiple cards? THE ANSWER IS NO.
