Those were the good old days. Nothing better than having the Islanders winning 4 cups in your Middle/HS years.

I'm going to NJ to see them tomorrow. Go to about 7 or 8 games a year here in NY....Brooklyn is just a subway ride from my office in mid-town.


ps....I see you're in Huntington Beach? Was out there in August - our shoe company works out of there. Nice area.....had my first in-n-out burger

uncle ny – COLD SHOWER RULE. We all know what happens in a cold shower. In this case, the Cold Shower comes after game 120, when each team will shrink it's payroll by $30,000,000 by dropping players, exchanging them or a combination thereof, provided changes don't take a team out of compliance with any of the other whacko rules of this silly-themed league.

Evan, how are we going to monitor this? My suggestion is to change your rule wording to as follows:
"... each team will shrink it's Roster Value to $90,000,000 or less by dropping... silly-themed league. The Roster Value must remain at $90,000,000 or less for the rest of the season."
How does this sound?

since I sometimes gave the wrong advise to my kids in 5th grade about equations with < in them...can I simplify Ranger's theme to make sure my roster is compliant...

RangerJoe - Every team must have a SP worth >$8M (I would have said 9M, but 8M should work with shuffle the deck below). Every team must have a SP worth between $7M-8M, every team must have a SP worth between $4M-6M. The remaining SP (including those for relief) must be worth <$3M

I translate this to...one SP over 8m....one SP worth between 7-8m, one SP btween 4-6m....and the remaining sp, numbers 4,5, or 6 in the rotation have to be worth less than 3million. right?

Meat: and any rp that is so/rp has to fit that rubric too

Meat, I interpret the rule same as you. So this means that any SP between $6m and $7m is ineligible, and any SP between $3 and $4 is ineligible.
