Love the Stargell '73 suggestion!

7. George Brett '76 (.333 for first batting title in a year when there was no hitting at all!)

I also like...

Barry Bombs 2002 (.370)
Andres Galarraga 1993 (also .370)
Rico Carty 1970 (.366)
Ralph Garr 1974 (.353)
Hank Aaron 1971 (47 HR)
I could go on... 8-)

This is the problem with the new card additions; we add the all star guys that we all know about. But not the sometimes-gem-like players at very low salaries. Is there anyway to rectify this?

Hey Hack,

So we ran a test of sorts on these type of players in 17.1 and carved out 4 slots for them. We ended up with the following guys...
Ed Roebuck, 1957 DOD, R RP, $1.47 9R
Steve Hamilton, 1963 WAS/NYY, L RP, $1.6 6L
Horace Clarke, 1966 NYY, SS 2B 3B, $.71 but bad D
Wayne Causey, 1964 A's, SS 2B 3B, $1.62 D=3 and good OBP

3 out of 4 ain't bad. So we could take two paths for low end players as we've sort of proven we can predict how they will end up in ATG...
1. Decide to conduct a whole card add on these guys with the understanding that we will miss on some
2. Lean on whole team adds to get these guys, but we will only be adding 1 whole team once per year

The are a bunch of other guys listed in the Role Player forum...

As always open to opinions

We also added Pumpsie Green who ended up with a playable card vs LHP.

I would like to see us add 2 teams each year with the 50-card add. We need full teams for the Rays, Marlins, D-Backs and Rockies for sure.

Thanks,
Bill

Tigers franchise sorely in need of middle rp/cl. He already has 2 cards but his best year not yet represented.
