PROSPECT DRAFT
1) There will be no prospect draft in this league, until we have played all of the older seasons. When we get ready to play a brand new season, along with all other keeper leagues, then we will adopt prospect draft rules similar to those in common use at that time.
2) Effective with the 2012 season, we will hold a prospect draft after the annual free agent draft, with managers drafting up to 2 prospects per year -- prospects are those players who have never received a card yet and draft sequence will be random and serpentine.
3) Prospects may be held indefinitely, until such time as a player receives a card, at which point the prospect must be either promoted or dropped -- with managers holding no more than 4 prospects at any one time.
4) Effective with the 2013 card set, the prospect draft will begin PRIOR TO the free agent draft, as soon as all managers have checked in and posted their drops and promotions for the new season.

6) Prior to the draft for all subsequent seasons, all owners must drop enough players to bring their rosters to a maximum of 30 players, allowing for 10 draft picks. Owners can drop below 30 players, but must not have fewer than 25 prior to the draft.

Haha, shows how desperate my ass is that it takes 20 seasons for someone to even want to break this rule.
I'll keep Tyler Duffey.

I am *considering* offloading Big Papi, who has anchored our lineup since the inaugural season. His card, like his legacy, is devastating..the proper cleanup hitter for a championship run. Considering his utter lack of defense...that $9.31m salary is deserved.

We all know it's his swansong...but I have to get the right combo of draft flexibility or youngsters, because I think with him I can contend in the second season.

Let me know if you think he's the difference maker for you, and we'll see if there's a deal.
