IMO its the prospect drafts that is the biggest problem, I don't care who has Posey, Rendon, or Gallo I still have to face them. What has happen is there seems to be a no no to try to get a better deal for a player. Its like an unwritten rule you can't broadcast, I have a deal in place for player A is there anybody else who would like to make an offer.

I'm responsible for my moves, as Bill is, as everyone else is. If Posey (like Joe Mauer), stops catching in 2 or 3 seasons and finish at 1B, I'm fucked. Renton & Gallo might have many great seasons left. We can't say.

What's really killing a keepers league IMO is when someone like Catom clears all his talent and picks for one hit wonders.
I don't think we have that kind of managers anymore in this league. And like Padre, sometime, we have to know when to rebuild...

This rebuilding strategy takes patience, but it can work. I had a team in the PCDKL that had followed a similar pattern. A few years ago, I traded off all of my aging stars and built a roster with 35+ guys who were under the age of 27. We won a title last year and are leading our division right now -- even with a lineup that features 5 platoons!

I mean sometimes it is all in how you manage it, I took over a team that had averaged 79 wins and in 1 1/2 seasons have averaged 97 wins. I didn't make a ton of moves, either. Yet, I took it from an 85 win team to 100 and then 104 wins. I actually have the best Winning Percentage in the league, not Jfaltour. Just saying

Hero in a half shell! Turtle power!

Also, I could consider moving Charlie Blackmon or Nelson Cruz. Areas of need are 1B, LF OR CF, RF, C and SS.
