Interest in a protection league

Trying to gauge level,of interest for a 24 team protection league.

Yeah, possibly...

I have 4 people committed so far.

I would be interested but as others have suggested rules need to be added. I am very picky about what the rules should be for a league I will join. And you must have a very detailed set of rules, otherwise problems will arise quickly....

First off , if you are going to try for a 24 team keeper league with the Daily Game, good luck. It will be tough to get 24 people to play and agree on the rules.

Secondly, if you do go with a 24 team league, the salary cap MUST be no higher than 80 million, or forget it. The reason for this is, otherwise the teams that do not do well in the auto draft will have virtually no chance to compete. So essentially it is like a lottery to see who gets those tough players.
No one (with any sense) wants to pay 20 bucks, for each season, and have zero chance of competing because they had a bad auto draft.

Lastly, with a 24 team keeper league, you will have guys who drop out after the first season, and then you are going to need to sell new people on the teams that have been abandoned.

The biggest mistake I see with keeper and franchise leagues with the Daily Game is too high of a salary cap. 24 team Daily Leagues with 100 million dollar salary caps are decided with an auto draft, it is a preposterously high cap for 24 teams.
