LHPs Only league-$140 mil DH, LIVE DRAFT on 7-3, 10 PM ET

Hey guys, I just created the Lefty Pitchers Only league. ATG8, $140 mil, DH, frenzy, just 5% drop penalty all season long (so you can tinker with your team!) LIVE DRAFT has been rescheduled for 7-3-17, 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Join the league, research the players, draft your team live and have some fun! - Bernie

Don't be scared off by the live draft. It's really simple and it usually moves along quickly. There are usually a few minutes between your team's picks, so you can use that time to decide who to pick next, or you can work on other things.

I thought about setting the league for an autodraft, but a live draft usually results in a more even distribution of talent.

Remember, all you have to do is join the league. No need to put together your team now, as that's why there is a live draft.

It's been a while, perhaps as long as a couple of years, since there was a lefty pitchers only theme league and I've never seen one with the $140 mil cap. This should be fun and interesting.

Doesn't look like this one is gonna fly and I had a last minute emergency come up so I'm pulling out. If you try again next weekend Bernie, I'll jump back in.

The league wasn't filled on the first live draft date, so no draft at that time. I reset the live draft to Sunday, 6-18-17 at 8:30 P.M. Eastern Time.

I hope everyone who joined initially comes back. The league was 2/3 filled on the original draft day, so it's conceivable that it will fill by the new draft date of Sunday, 6-18-17 at 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time.

This is a great theme which will have lots of offense. Come join us!

OK, we need 7 more. If mighty moose gets back in as stated earlier in this thread, that's 6. I'm not sure if that's enough momentum going into the weekend to fill by the Sunday night live draft, which happens to be on Father's Day.

What's the consensus here? Is Sunday night problematic for people? Should I move the draft to say, Thursday, June 22 at 8:30 P.M. Eastern time? A Thursday night draft lets us play with our rosters over the weekend and start games on Monday.

Or is there another issue involved? Are people waiting for the new ATG cards before committing to another league? Would everyone rather just do an autodraft? Are people league shopping, looking for a league with managers with a low winning percentage? Yes, there are some managers here who've done better than average, but we've all had our share of bad teams.

How about some feedback guys?

Would stand pat for the time being Bernie. Take another gander on Sunday mid day, and then make a decision at that time, whether to move it or not.

Is that a thing? With my record, if I tried that, I'd never find a league I could join.

Unfortunately, the live draft did not fill tonight. I am ok with switching to an auto draft if you decide to do that. If you try a mid-week live draft, might want to try 9pm. Allows time for Westerners to get home and not too late for Easterners (hopefully).

Using BDWard's concept started the (Autodraft) Lefty Pitcher League. It's a public league and open to all.

If he reschedules a live draft this week between now and Friday would still be interested in that too.

All interested in Bernie's concept are welcome to join the autodraft league (too.)
