the vast majority of the cards are DH, 1b, and corner OFs mostly with mediocre/poor defense.

A few cards will fill a franchise need- okay, thats cool, but then lets at least recognize its a franchise add. There is no issue with that.

Duren, Ryne 1958 $3.94- Best year. Not exciting. Helps NYY.

I nominated Duren because he is cheaper version of Tom Hall, A SP/RP with no BP singles. Highly usable, especially in popular parks like Forbes 57.

Whether a card is usable is dependent on price at most caps. At the right price and Cap any of these cards is usable.

keep saying the issue is that the nominees are largely DHs and 1Bs, and poor defensive corners for which there is already a plethora of choices; what we really need is more DHs and 1Bs that you are hoping will come in under priced so they get used?


Don't worry that as Nomad Brad keeps saying Jeff Russell, a good RP would have been a great choice, usable at most caps, was a franchise need for Texas and is USABLE at just about any reasonable RP price.
Lets get more DHs and 1Bs because ya know they just might come in under
