Also stated pretty clear that drops were to be in by a specified time as well doesn't it? If we are going to enforce all the rules, then drops after July 15th 11:59pm are invalid.

Also doesn't specify about making drops for summer prospect draft either, so there are some minor issues with the rules.

Those may be legitimate issues, Dave, but this particular rule is very clear and has always been enforced. Seriously, you're going to argue that if we don't follow one rule to the letter (like the timeframe on when drops are due, etc...), then all other rules can be ignored whenever an owner isn't aware of them?

It has come to my attention that there is a rule about 3 sup picks, the deal between MFL and myself that involved me obtaining a 4th pick would not have been made until after his pick in round 1 if this was known and this would be a non-issue. It was my impression that 4 picks were clear as when the post was made about number of picks it had 4. So, if this is now going to be enforced, then so should other rules about posting drops, there was a deadline of 11:59pm on July 15th, but drops were posted after that date, those should be voided as well if we are going to be strictly enforcing the rules. It doesn't matter when the email was sent either, as nothing is official until stated to these boards as we found out with recent non-deal with Edub.

MFL would have had 1 sup pick without our deal (as his roster would have been at 39 as the deal included 3 players going to his team and only 2 players + 1 sup pick coming my way), made a pick and then our deal would have gone through and I still would have my original 3 picks.

Well, you DID have 4 picks at the start of the draft - which is allowed. But you lose the rights to the fourth pick unless you trade it before making your 3rd selection.

By trading for an additional pick, you moved up in the draft without giving away a pick to a competitor... Why is this confusing?

You are so wrong and so late with this. Most leagues do not have this rule, I can show you many league rules without this stipulation, and this issue has already been resolved....Seriously You obviously only read what you wanted to, I never asked for the rules to be changed, get your facts straight before shooting your mouth off once again.

I apologize if I mislead anyone with how many picks you could make because I was not aware of the rule either. I made a mistake and I'm sure it wont be my last.

Still that does not absolve you from being aware of the rules as well.

It is in everyone's interest if we can just finish the draft and move forward.
