(asked actually) Why doesn't Strat just add all the cards available? They have all but 2 seasons available for the Windows game.The online game has how many players? 2,000 plus? In the entire history of MLB there have been over 19,000 major league baseball players.Granted that includes the one AB one IP careers.Leagues can always be custom made to limit an over - indulgence of superstar cards per league.Its SOM's game on their website there shouldn't be licensing issues.

Want Sosa's .328 season and Bonds' 2002-2004. Historically very significant cards indeed and very playable.

Another LA Dodger closer is a great card add. Takashi Saito's 2007 season. 39 saves, 64 innings, 78 strikeouts, 1.40 ERA and 0.715 WHIP.

Adding all of the players would be a great idea -- and not just from an ATG perspective.

If all of the seasons were added, including all of the players, then we could have both all-star leagues like now and retro keeper leagues, too, starting whenever.

2015 Wade Davis would be a nice card.

While we're at it, might this be a good time to update some of the cards that do exist, to the most recent and accurate ones available? For example, the following cards have been issued in official super-advanced "cadillac" format, but we are still using the old ones, with generic ballpark HRs and in some cases, generic platoon splits and clutch ratings, etc:

Duke Snider 1953
Ralph Kiner 1949
Reggie Jackson 1969
Al Rosen 1953
Robin Yount 1982
Willie McCovey 1969

In some cases, the differences are quite significant. A couple of examples:

Duke Snider 1953. The version we are using now has Duke with an "E" balance rating and minus 3 clutch, but the super-advanced version has him with a 4R rating, minus 15 clutch against RHP, minus 6 clultch against LHP.

Al Rosen, 1953, the version we are using has him with a 0 clutch rating. His super-advanced version has him with a minus 11 clutch rating.

Mike Shannon's 1967 or 1968 ATG card would let him play 3b. Cardinals (like Tim McCarver) credit Shannon's "stud" move to 3b, allowing newly acquired Maris to play RF, as key to Cardinals 1967 World Series Championship.
