Pitcher Injury in a non DH league

Is there any way to read a pitcher's injury when it happens when he is batting? This is an non DH league obviously.

Since the pitcher uses the exact same pitcher hitting card for each of his possible years the result does not help. The only thing that may help is the length of injury. If he is injured for more than 3 games then it is from a card with less than 200 IP. If the injury is 3 games or less there is no help at all.

That's what I thought but I just wanted to see if I was missing something. The pitcher is Fritz Peterson in the 70's and he only has 1 year with less than 200 innings but the injury was for 3 games so I'm out of luck on this one

You are mostly out of luck. However, since there is a 9/20 chance of a pitcher with 200+ IP getting a 3-game injury compared to a 2/20 chance for a 3-game injury for a pitcher with <200 IP, chances are good that you don't have his under 200 IP card. A future 3-game injury makes it likely you don't have his <200-IP card.

That's not much help only making one season less likely than the others. However, the 3-game injury also works for hitters. A 3-game injury is much more likely to occur to hitters with 600+ AB+BBs.
