How long does it take to form leagues with the 80s set?

I'm new to the on-line game, and selected a team from the Back to the 80s set. I thought the league would be up and running quickly, figuring leagues were forming all the time. However, now I'm wondering if it will be days or even weeks before we get started. I was the second team in the league, and there remains only 2 teams an hour later. Is the 80s set just not very popular? I have another token to use on another team. Is there a better set that might allow me to jump right in and start playing in a league today? Thanks!

There are currently seven teams in a 60s league. Seems like at least one if not two 80s leagues start per week. Typically the league fills real quickly on Thursday/Friday of the week. Also, once a league gets 7-8 teams, they tend to fill really fast from my past experience.

Excellent! Thanks! I just refreshed my Front Office page, and the guy that was there before me has bailed! Now my league is down to just me! Ha! I'll see what happens after the weekend. I notice an ATG 8 league with 11/12 teams. Maybe I'll jump in that one with my other token.

I have had good luck with 60s leagues filling within a week. However, it's a lot newer set than the 80s.

Also, Ducky is right; once a league hits critical mass (7 or 8), it will fill within a day usually.
