I'll look at it a bit more closely, but Jerlins is likely correct if you already have space on the roster you don't get to make a cut.

Nope, you CAN make the cut, Jerlins was incorrect, and I was as well, but only because I thought Butcher was a prospect.

You HAVE to make a cut to make this deal work because it puts you at 41, so cutting Feliz is fine.

That is true in regards to cuts for a draft pick, but this deal puts schnoogens at 41 players so he absolutely needs to make a cut. It's no different than a two for one deal during the season.

I'm not sure why you would feel the cut wasn't allowed Jerry ?

What doesn't happen though, is lakeviewdave does not get a supplemental draft pick in the Supplemental draft to bring his roster to 40. He will play season 2 with 39 players. That is spelled out very clearly in the Supplemental draft rules.
