Joe, I take it the the reason the draft is set up for $100 mil on Diamond Dope is that Diamond Dope does not support non-standard draft caps and that when we fill out our auto draft picks after the Diamond Dope draft that the league will be set up with a cap of $110 mil.

Also, regarding stadium selections, wouldn't it be more fair to let the opportunity to select a stadium begin in an even numbered round, as starting ballpark selection in an odd numbered round gives those with the earliest draft picks the double benefit of not only having first choice of players, but first choice of stadiums? I believe it would be more fair to let those with the lowest draft picks have first shot at selecting a stadium, since they have the last shot at selecting players.

Please reconsider your position on stadium selection.

diamonddope is set for 140 Million Cap, 110 Cap is noted in Title on diamonddope

While your suggestion has merit, your particular suggestion has never been brought up. Originally stadiums were able to be picked in any round, but around Season 7, it was suggested to move to later rounds (9) so a manager might have a better idea of what stadium his drafted players might fit. I'll grant that in your current draft spot up to ten stadiums might be chosen, but based on 57 seasons of drafting I can assure you this is a very remote possibility, I for one can assure you I won't be picking a stadium in Round 9.

Stadiums are eligible to be selected beginning with Round 9, picking a stadium in Round 9 is not required, just an added choice.
Most stadium choices are made in Rounds 12-13, but everyone has the choice beginning with Round 9,
which has been a LZB Rule for about 57 Seasons, just like picking players, it's your choice on when to pick
a stadium after the beginning of Round 9.

With the number of stadiums available with similar ratings, I don't see a need for a change.
But this is not a dictatorship, LA-Z-BOY is flexible so if you wish to poll all the managers to have stadium selection switched (majority vote) to Round 8. You are welcome to do so, as the most important rule of LA-Z-Boy League is to have fun.

Joe, I'd be requesting that the stadium draft start in an even number round even if I had the first draft pick, as it seems like the right thing to do.

Given that it took a week for managers just to acknowledge whether they were returning and to state a cap and DH preference, I doubt that a poll would be concluded prior to completion of the draft, making poll results moot. As commissioner, you have the authority to make or change rules. I asked you to reconsider, and it appears that you did give it some further thought. That's good enough for me.

Hopefully, you will reconsider for future leagues, before draft positions are determined. - Bernie

Draft has officially started, Bill (deepdrive) is up for a pick, I have sent an old league mail
and email note that he is up for a selection.

Once we get everyone through the first round things should move along a little quicker.

Hopefully all is well with Bill, This is highly unusual for him to miss picking for a day.
