Franchise ATG season 3 needs some GMs.

We are in franchise season 2 now.

The season 3 franchise draft will happen around October 20.

But... I am starting to take reservations for GMs now.

Season one and season two we used cards from 1901 to 1946.
Season three we are switching to the card set 1947+

For season 3, We will only use cards from 1947 to 1984...from the Strat ATG subset post 1947 years...
(Some franchises...noted below...are restricted to card years tighter than 1947 to 1984)

We will be using an $80M cap. Default settings.

All players cards used are restricted to 120% of at bats or innings pitched maximum.

Only cards tied to specific team franchises.
For example... let's look at Reggie Jackson
He has four cards in the set
But one of the cards in the set, he was on the Angels (1982 card)...but the Angels franchise is not in our league.
So...that leaves three cards available to us and our league.
If you are the Yankees GM you can only use his 1980 card
If you are the Athletics GM you can only use his 1969 or his 1973 card.
If we have a Yankees GM and we have an Athletcs GM...and they both wanted Reggie Jackson...then the auto draft would determine who gets him.

The card year, that player, must have been on that real life team.

Strat 365 already has in its league set up... a way to search players by team. This makes things a lot easier for all of us. And keeps things relatively simple. Simple to search for players in the league by team once you join and have a franchise...and you can tweak your roster before the games begin without having the fear that you may be missing or overlooking a player.

For example, If you are the Yankees GM for a specific upcoming season, it's easy to see... as you search players by team ...that as you search through all the available Players by franchise.

Under free agents You can use the bottom drop down box to search players "by team"...

The old KISS acronym I think is best when we are setting up a league like this.
Easy to set up your roster. Easy for you and others in the league to police your team...that it's legal.
No Baseball Encyclopedia required!
