The 1953 Eddie Mathews is different on there. I think Atg has the one that isn't "super advanced".

Looks like all the 1953 cards in atg are not super advanced. I wonder if we have to wait til atg 9 for them to be changed.

don't know if this is the right place to put this, but the Braves franchise BADLY needs a shortstop from Post WWII onward. How about '93 or '97 Jeff Blauser whichever has a better fielding year. Both are nice hitting options.

I think Michael Young should get a better card.. And how about a Robin Yount card where he can play LF?

There are no Yount cards in the Strat inventory where he plays an even passable LF: Only in 1985 he's a 2(+3)e12 in LF and didn't even have a good offensive year then.

Would LOVE a good Young card, but his value would not come as a 3b, only at SS or 2b. Unfortunately, his only year as a 2 at SS was 2008, where he was a 2e12, but was very pedestrian offensively; one of the weakest offensive seasons of his career. His BEST season is 2005, when he won the batting title, but defensively he was a SS-3e19. Wish Start were willing to move that 2 Range rating around to a better offensive season. He's really ruined by his only good defensive season coming in a bad offensive season.

Interesting. I think some of the Young cards are usable if they are priced right. I take your word for it about Yount.

Yes, I don't mind playing a 3 at SS (gotta be low error rating though) if the offense is right, especially in smaller caps. I'm mainly saying that I feel the community wont VOTE for a Michael Young who's a 3 at SS.

Yeah, Yount's value comes as a SS. Adding another OF card for Yount seems to be a waste of resources.

Rosie, you have a tough (impossible) task keeping everyone's voting agenda happy with only 25 cards every three months for the next 9 months. For consideration, how about more narrowly allocating slots, so we spread different voting agendas around. For example, for each 25 card add, you allocate
4 slots for those with no cards
4 slots to add a much improved card
4 slots to add for a franchise [rotating]
4 slots to add for a position [rotating]
4 slots for high caps. The votes always seem slanted to high caps, so having this as an exclusive category might encourage voting for more "milder" cards in other slots.
4 wild [rotating] - could be mvp/cy youngs, or rookie of the year, high stolen bases, ops no higher than 750, pre-WW2, post WW2, dead ball. You name it.
1 for someone who just missed a previous vote, automatically getting in that you choose. There are so many here already, you deserve something for all your work.
