Back in the 60s I posted that I would award a credit to the manager with the most wins by a single franchise (to mostly motivate sticking with your chosen club through the tough times) when we got to the end of the 90s. In reviewing the spreadsheet I put together (found in the google docs above), there are only three managers that stuck with their franchise throughout the decades...
Rosie2167 - Orioles / 593 wins
Falcon29 - Red Sox / 586 wins
Davesodu - Yankees / 585 wins

So we will be battling it out this season for the coveted (embellishing for impact) Mystery Franchise Manager Trophy! (I'm sure there's a sexier name out there somewhere) WOW! The crowd goes wild!!

Not to be without mention are the Reds Franchise who've amassed a whopping 641 wins and are by far the winningest club, but across two managers...franky35 and gbrookes

The most wins by a manager across all clubs skippered is franky35 with 873, 18 games up on jjrecupero at 855. Yes you'll notice I pulled out the extra games won by me and franky35 when we had to get out the defibrillator in 80.2 to keep the league afloat. While there's no credit being awarded for this achievement (maybe there should be if we do this again) there is a virtual trophy (The Best Damn Mystery Franchise Manager in the History of this Event!) and bragging rights in play...

Lastly the manager with the most Championships leading into 90.2 is YountFan with 2. YountFan has been the ultimate mercenary managing 6 different franchises across the decades. For his achievements (even if someone with 1 Title wins one this season) I'm awarding YountFan with the CherryPicker Trophy!

I'd do it again. Darn 70s where I couldn't get Catfish and Reggie may cost me the overall title. Although I am trying to figure if I am in third (not bad, chance to win) or in last (that really sucks). The Yankee players are really stoked about the possibility of getting me the Mystery Franchise Manager Trophy and has agreed to give 110% this final season so I can win.

Maybe randomize team picking once we have 12 owners and you can't pick the same team? Although not picking the same team may not work as only 3 of us kept the same team throughout. I liked what you did the 80s & 90s with the spreadsheets. Any chance of adding that for the 60s & 70s? Just thinking of the Yanks and how they maybe could have had Reggie & Catfish one season at least. Or something like getting Reggie in season 2 of the 70s and, if I am out of the playoff hunt, trading him to the O's in return for the O's not drafting a certain player in the 80s if that would be allowed.

This is by far the most realistic baseball simulation that I've seen. So, I'm in to whatever future league. Thanks again Rosie, you have really put a lot of effort into this.
