has anyone calculated the average add NERP value of a switch hitter vs. a left handed vs a right handed hitter with everything else on the card being held constant?
Depends so much on the context...
20XX season: In the area around 2-3 NERP for switch hitters and half of this for left-handed hitters
ATG 200M: It<s virtually absent
ATG 100M: so highly variable that you really have to check out on a per league case, but I would say there is usually an advantage for having a switch because managers have a greater tendency to rely on extreme specialist relievers than in ATG 200M.
