totally new to strat football---help

How do the offense and defensive lines come in to play?
how do the linebackers come into play?
what does 6-6 mean on a def back?

basically where can I find how to play this game. The "Game Rules" tell very little.

Yes, can't find any explanation of what the numbers mean on the team cards.

thx Geekor, I read all that and it doesn't tell you much about how the game is played. That's why I thought I'd ask here as maybe some dice-rollers that play Strat football could help us out.

Found the rules online through the Strat website...

neat to look at Ed, but doesn't tell anything about how the game is played. what the off/def lines do, what the lb's do, etc...

thanks doug. but looks like a LOT of that is not able to be seen and will be game engine stuff here. especially the workings of the o-line, d-line, and groupings (lbs and dbs). would love an explanation of how it's going to work.

The team number is the sum of all the individual players ratings.

Now can someone please post a link to the player salaries something these nincompoops forgot to do as of yesterday night.
