Playing like it's 2003

PostSun Sep 17, 2017 9:27 am

Since game is broken like its 2003 again, let's compile all bugs.

League #1 didn't run at all last night.
2 point conversion from 15 yard line.
Stats sometimes doubled.
Player dropped and stats disappear.

Detail in play by play needs to show all the dice rolls.
And all the detail of what occurred...for example...MLB blitzes...or FS doubles SE...etc.

Agree, nowhere with expensive lines and defense, so putting no worth in blocking until I see defensive cards. My guess is that they are generic and not a compilation of the defenses selected. If daily baseball can change cards often, why not this.

The defensive formation settings are totally jacked up. I played a team last night that runs 80% of the time, so I selected the "Stuff the Run 60's - 70's 4-3" option. Does HAL put me in a 4-3? No, not even in a 3-4. I'm in a 3-3-5 EVERY SINGLE PLAY.

I'm sending my 3rd email to Strat telling them I've played in over 200 on-line leagues, but I'm done with football until they fix some things.

What formation did your opponent use?

Great question. He's used "3 WR 1 HB," which I assume means TE and no FB. This drove me into a default 3-3-5 which I guess was my opponent's strategy. So there is logic here, but it gets back to the lack of strategic options. I would like to have had an option of a 4-2-5 or even staying in a 4-3 since he runs 80% of the time. He was starting Curly Lambeau as his quarterback for God's sake - I'm not scared of the passing game.

For those that don't know my reference, I was one of the holdouts that played the old football to bitter end.

The end started, with games not running properly, waking up to see some games not run at all (like what happened last night).

Well the next night, it they tried to correct it, it got really bad. I mean it was like ALL leagues got mixed, players getting stats on team from other leagues. I mean utter destruction.

Well a week in a games didn't run last night.... so it begins, like in 2003.

got the big pink box for my league....

Attn: Auto League 434668

We've run into an issue running Sunday night's Week 7 games for this league. We're looking into it and will keep you updated as much as we can.
Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience!

looks like Geekor may be right.....I didn't play their old TSN football game. Is this one drastically different? or did they just roll out the same product with a few changes and hope it would run better?
