Thanks! I had assumed that was the process - just making sure. I'm no stranger to Baseball Reference either...it's been a staple of mine for years. People who know me think I'm really baseball smart because of it LOL.

I received a suggestion for the next MLB that the randomization be the selection order for choosing franchises.

This idea may be helpful If you have missed out on managing a particular franchise

or you have received the same team several times.

However for this league I ask that everyone please do your best with the hand that they were dealt

and let's keep the line moving so that we can have our draft before tomorrow night's deadline.

I am confident that the rosters will change significantly regardless if you have had the same team more than once.

Thank you,
Charles

I'm ready to load, just waiting for the last team in the East.

Also ready and waiting.

I really like the idea of a franchise draft for next time, looking forward to it!

I second that motion on the franchise draft. It's a good combination of luck with the randomizer combined with choice once you know your spot (unless you're unlucky and end up at the back of the line!).

I was pleased to get the team I wanted anyhow.

Did 2 teams just both draft for the Reds/White Sox franchise? And missing the Indians/Tigers one?

Yup, Tallguy seems to have copied my Reds franchise.

edit: I'm gonna pull my team out of the league until this gets straight. No point in having a f-ed up draft.

Did I screw up and take the wrong franchise? I thought I had the Reds/White Sox! I'll keep checking back. I wondered why we lost a team from the Central since I put my team in.

Somebody let me know what I need to do to help correct whatever went wrong!

Thanks

Yeah, you are Tigers/Indians:

Manager: thetallguy747
Franchise #8

Detroit Tigers 1901-2017
Cleveland Blues 1901
Cleveland Bronchos 1902
Cleveland Naps 1903-1914
Cleveland Indians 1915-2017
Detroit Wolverines 1881-1888

I think as long as you join before anyone else, we'll be good. If not, then we can just have folks jump back out and jump back in, in the right order.
