Yes, exactly. If you have 25 carded players who are eligible under the game engine rules, then you draft them. Otherwise, place one or more un-drafted players at the top of your autodraft team list to fill in the blanks.

I remain confused about a rule that has been discussed several times in this league. I feel like it's intuitive that my best players (let's say Longoria) are mine no matter what, even if I de-activate them due to injury (for instance). But I read about how we have to announce such things...that makes me think if I drop him for a day, someone could pick him up and keep him if I don't announce it properly.

Sorry to make you do this, but could you clarify whether or not the legacy players we have prior to the frenzy are PERMANENTLY ours, and if so what the announcement thing is?

I don't see the 2008 league to join. I already had strat create my team. What should I do?

Yes, players on your roster are yours until you drop them.

Not sure of what announcement you speak. All I recall is about mentioning that you are intentionally keeping somebody who is uncarded in the current season.

Good enough for me, thanks. I thought last season there was some talk about how you have to say "I'm releasing this guy in the in-season engine but keeping him on my roster" or something like that.
