how is he a 3L that year? His OPS against RHP was .953 and against LHP was .984...

Good question.... Look at the card, is it very unbalanced?

I just looked at his 1970 card and he does well versus RHP. He gets on base about 45% of the time (depending on ballpark HRs), and with power. He just clocks lefties a little harder... The 3L is not that scientific I don't think, the card is what you want to look at.

The card doesn't mirror his real life stats per baseball-reference.com
