Generally speaking tried to keep the cards chosen to at least 350 ABs, including the pre-1900 cards.

There are also some cards in the unleashed seasons that are very good but low ABs, figured we'd stay clear of those.

definitely appreciate the input from folks.

I know we already have a couple of his cards, but the 1936 Bill Dickey (.362/.428/.617) seems like it might be a pretty good high level card.

2011 Mike Napoli (.320/.414/.631, C 3(-1)e1T-8pb-0/1B 4e6, 3-injury, 1R)

Good call on both; each one has merits.
Napoli card-- the 3 injury isn't too bad, and the card can hit.

I can't see the Dickey card but those stats are better than his top card by a reasonable amount.

Both deserve consideration to be on the final list.

I'll second the Dickey card, looks like a pretty good upgrade at a shallow position

Agree Steve--
why I think if we can add/upgrade 2 or 3 Cs it will really be helpful.

I know you're probably thinking of lights out R1s when you talk about stud RH rp, but there are some others that might fit the bill:

1966 Jack Aker 66 games 113 IP 1.99/0.965 28 BB (10 of which were IBB)/68 Ks 2.86 FIP 171 ERA+ 13th in MVP

2007 Heath Bell R2 2.02/.961 102Ks for 93.2 IP FIP of 2.50 199 ERA+

2009 Jonathan Broxton 2.61/.961 114ks in 76 ips 1.97 FIP

1970 Ken Sanders 1.75/0.964 1HR in 92.1 IP 2.34 FIP 215 ERA+

1960 Lindy McDaniel 2.09/0.937 2.26 FIP 195 ERA+ 8.1K/9ip 3rd in CY, 5th MVP

Ok here's the breakdown for the card allocation of 17.4.

Already in based on 17.3 voting and taking into consideration the parameters for 17.4...
1. George McQuillan 1908 PHI R SP* zero card, 10yrs 0.984whip 23-17 359in 32CG
2. Kevin Millwood 1999 BRV R SP* zero card,16yrs 0.996whip 18-7, CY-3, MVP-26 4R
3. Tim Burke 1987 MON R RP zero card, 8yrs 0.89whip 7-0 18sv 2R
4. Tom House 1974 BRV L RP zero card, 8yrs 0.98whip 6-2 11sv 5L
5. Harry Heilmann 1923 DET RF/1B 2 cards, 17yrs 403/481/632/1113 MVP-3
6. George Sisler 1922 SLB 1B 2 cards, 15yrs 420/467/594/1061 1e18 MVP-1

that leaves us with 19 spots.

4 - High End/Studs
4 - 60-99
3 - Angels
3 - Orioles/Browns
3 - Royals
2 - Diamondbacks

Salty - please adjust your list accordingly. Also I'm not out to neuter your list, so I'm happy keeping the 2000+ guys on it (with one caveat which I'll address below), but please replace your 1899- guys. As I've stated before we won't be adding them until I feel we've addressed some of the other deficiencies in the set. Thanks for leaning in hard on this process!

The high end card caveat...of the four remaining spots no more than 2 can be 2000+.

I'll have the franchise lists by Thursday so the last grouping we need to work on is the 60-99. Yes its a large chunk of time but many names have already been tossed around and the step child that is 1981 can be a major part as well. I'll start that thread now.

Tks!
Rosie
