Hawk and I had a World Series game last night. He ties it top of 9th, we both score 2 in the 11th. He scores 3 in top of 12 and I score 4 to win. Crazy

Wow! That's pretty remarkable especially given what happened in the Series!

Speaking of crazy games. Won a game in 15 against Dale tonight!

Miggy hits a 1-12 bphr in the sixth to tie and no one scores until the 10th. Dale scores on a Fowler groundout ( guess the infield was back or just corners in) and things look bleak with Jansen on, but Lucroy opens with a single (missing a 2b), after an out, Cano hits a single (missing a 1-15 2b off of Jansen's card) and then Miggy singles off of his card with Cano getting thrown out at 3b. After Seager gets the Intentional, Naquin singles and Bryant throws out his second guy of the inning when Miggy is gunned down (1-10) at the plate.

On to more extras...

After leaving runners on the corners in the 12th and 13th, we finally break through. in the top of the 15th, he leaves runners on second and third on a clutch popout by Castro. For us, with two outs, no one on, a walk to Beltre and a single by Asdrubal off of Claudio then AJ Ellis hits a single off of Belisle's card for the win. That was a wild one for sure.

Closing in on 81 games. Only a couple of teams look like they are struggling to stay in the race. Who's going to make some moves (and some have already been made) to move up or stay where they are?

Not much to say here, 12-9 in our last 21 which is good, good enough to stay in first for now, but, and a big but, if anyone in my Division had gotten hot they would have went by us in the left lane with no trouble. So bottom line. I'm going to have to play better than I have since that blistering start to keep our position of lead sled dog. Because as the saying goes, anywhere from second on back, the view is the same.
