not a fan at all of changing rules that were stated up front, especially once some owners have made team selections.

I think I must agree about changing the rules. To me, the big challenge is to fit 26 players into your planning. It is usually difficult enough to just get the 25 you draft to fit. Here, we are tasked to think ahead even more, to get that 26th after the draft. The effect is to reduce the strength of the SUPER teams, and make the entire league more competitive (i.e., the Mets CAN compete with the Yankee juggernauts). If I'm in an extreme minority, I will go along with a rules change, but I would certainly prefer to keep things as they now are....Mike

Mike, when I said 26 it was with the idea of forcing another utility type low end player and it’s my preference. Hittmens got me with the official roster size argument, and I assumed many others would agree with him. But two of you have rightfully pointed out the inequity of changing rules after the fact and in stronger terms. So 26 it is and all previously stated rules will stand.

My thoughts exactly, prefer 25 but perhaps we should have mentioned it earlier

I agree. I don't like the 26 player rule but I like even less the idea of changing roster rules after the franchise drafting is well under way.
