Ouch! Stoney is going for the 1-run deficit record. He's keeping me out of last in the West - at least for the time-being.

Yeah, sorry about that Stoney, your luck has been incredibly bad. (Warning KoD coming) We were hanging right around .500 in one runners and then, over our last 13 games we have gone 7-1 in one run games. (That's a LOT of one run games) Hoping it will continue, but I probably just jinxed myself.

Ok, been too long since posting so....

Here are the luck factors.

Hawk has been very unlucky. Mostly on the bp chart, but also with rolling on his card.

Stones, of course, with the one run games.

To a lesser extent Doug with bp hrs and errors (balanced out with rolling on his card) and GB with bpsi and card rolling.

The only time significantly lucky has been Big A with great HR and card rolling.

JTJ's excellent one run/pythag record is balanced out with poor HR rolls and more injuries than expected.

Ok, no comments so far so how about this...What do you guys think of the new charts below the standings???

I took a quick look at the stats, not recalculating the ratings, just taking a look at the actuals and came up with the below.

Quick summary:
Dale and Big A are over are wins. Dale, at least in part, because his rating reflects after making moves. spider and STones are below.

Offense: Good - Semper and Big A, Bad - JTJ, GB, Doug

P+F: Spider WAAAY below, Stones somewhat better. most close.

Interesting first two games with Falcon tonight. In the first one we jumped out to a 5-0 lead only give up 7 runs in the last three innings, losing in 10 after we had taken the lead in the top of the 10th! The winning run scored when my e1 catch made an error on a grounder. That doesn't happen very often.

Game two was almost the reverse he got to a 4-0 lead and we scored one in the 7th and four in the 9th (with the help of an error by Arenado :!: ) to win.

Weird.

The chart is a nice add. I sure don't feel lucky this season.

53-64 after that impressive 11-1 start. Looks like everyone's predictions about my squad was right. On a side note, it seems to happen every year. My teams (all of them) all start doing bad at the same time. Drives me crazy.

Unfortunately I can't blame my poor performance on bad luck. However, Verlander is a different matter! :(

Yet another season of NLD Baseball "Slip Slidin' Away".
Why do I feel like a lab rat, round and round and round and round and round and round on the wheel, without ever getting anywhere?

It's a good thing there's a sale on credits on right now. I better go stock up.

Yeah, I like the charts, but I think they should show winning pct instead. I find it hard to see the ups and downs with this chart. The "factors" say you've been a bit unlucky Smokey.

And yet, you're right in the thick of things Jeeper. I know what you mean. I hate it when you have a night(s) when all your teams lose. :(

Unfortunately I can't blame my poor performance on bad luck. However, Verlander is a different matter! :(

Well, *something* is going on with your pitching or I made some big mistake because I have you as much better in that category than you've been!
