2018 Mystery Tournament

I am willing to be a co-commissioner or just a helper for the 2018 Mystery Tournament that has the traditional rules for the Mystery Tournament. Hopefully, we can run a sign up in December and start the first round (the 60s) in mid-January. Does anyone want to be commissioner or co-commissioner? I'm good with rules but not good at randomizer and would definitely need help with getting people into the leagues on time.

I have one volunteer from last year to help. We need more.

Here is the link to last year's tournament: http://365.strat-o-matic.com/tournament/27 Assuming that no one steps up to take the commissioner reigns, the rules are the same as last year, except that the 70's will be no DH in conformance with standard auto leagues and the traditional tournament. Assuming SOM provides the same prizes as previous Mystery Tournaments, the prizes will be the same. There will be 4 rounds - one for each decade and the top 12 scorers will participate in the finals round which has rules voting the same as in previous years. The first round of the tournament (the 60s) will start on January 15, 2018 with the 70s starting 2 weeks later, the 80s 3 weeks after that and the 90s 2 weeks after that.

I would probably enter except the lack of a semi-finals is too restrictive. As a comparison, the ATG tourney puts the top 9 in the finals along with the winners of 3 semi-final leagues.

I could be replaced as commissioner, but as long as I'm commissioner, we'll stick to the traditional mystery tournament format. Having been through several mystery tournaments, I think it is long enough and extending the duration of the tournament risks losing momentum. As it is, from the start of sign-ups to the end of the finals is half a year.
