2018 Mystery Tournament - comments & complaints

The sign-up post says DH only in 80s/90s. Is this correct? We have used the DH in past tournaments for the 70s. Don't care either way....just want to confirm.

I vote for DH in the 70's league since Ron Blomberg became the first to DH back in 1973...many good offensive DH's without a position if you don't use the DH...

I'd prefer the DH in the 70s as well since over half the decade was played with the DH in place.

right now we have 3 votes for 70s-DH and 1 vote for no 70s-DH (me). If we get at least 3 more 70s-DH votes and no votes for no-DH, I'll ask SOM to change the rules to 70s-DH. They told me a couple days ago that they'll be setting up the Tournament page, so I'm expecting it to go up anytime.

Push them to get it up on the Front Office pages of the mystery leagues at the very least so people know about it.

Count me as another vote for no DH in the '70s.

I prefer the DH, and only because HAL is so in love with the double switch that he makes mid-game lineup moves that a 4-year-old wouldn't do. And it's WAY worse without the DH.

DH for 70s is preferred.
