Some of these I knew, some I thought I knew but was wrong, and a few I just gave up on and researched. One has me totally stumped, though - the bench guy for the Dodgers in the 1951 NL playoffs. My best guess is that it was Nate "Sweetwater" Clifton, who had played 1B in the Eastern league for a couple of seasons (1949-50) and of course was famous as a Globetrotter and a Knick. He makes some sort of twisted sense, since Campy was hurt and unavailable for the series and Clifton was probably not under contract with anybody and in town with either the Trotters or the Knicks. But I can find no transaction record that he signed with the Dodgers.

Great trivia quiz, though. Anybody who can score 70% on this without looking is really good.

I found it next to impossible. Karim Garcia, are you kidding? Pud Galvin?

Bill Sharman was the answer for the 1951 Bobby Thomson playoff game. I had to look it up - like 80% of the others. I did best on teams the Hall of Famers didn't play for, that's about it.
