Note: We've stabilized our website performance by adding extra hardware to our frontend server farm and blocking the excessive requests we were seeing. We also have a longer term solution to keep things running smoothly going forward, involving upgrading to more modern hardware, and a way to expand our resources more easily when needed. We hope you'll find our site more responsive to use now.

on occasion this site reminds me of growing up in a little northwestern british columbia town, where i started my love affair with baseball...the daily paper was always two day late and televised sports were shipped up by truck to the local station, usually within two weeks...
