Double Trouble League!

PostSun Jan 07, 2018 3:52 pm

Ok a new idea play 2 teams combined but expansion rosters only! Take two teams close together that make sense <indians, reds>, sox=cubs, mets=yankees, marlins=rays, dodgers=padres, angels=mariners, cardinals=royals,rockies=diamondbacks,astros=rangers,senators/braves,bluejays=expos,pirates/phillies,oakland/giants,brewers/twins,rockies/diamondbacks,red sox/orioles,mariners/angels,

Teams first come first serve pick ones you want! IF you don't use all your cash you can add players on WAIVERS! If players have cards on two rosters the players oldest card year wise is team that gets first chance to have that player on their team! And you must choose stadium from your teams of course! 175 million roster, waivers, 5% drop cost!

If you have a two or more team carded player, and you have rights to him by virtue of your oldest card rules, can you then play any of his cards, even if it does not jive with the franchise you chose?

Do the Senator/Braves combo include the Twins?

Don't think the Rockies/Dbacks or Marlins/Rays have enough bodies or numbers to compete.

Brewers play with twins since we only need 12 players I just placed teams together by distance so if you want Rockies and diamond backs you get what they have it's your choice. If you have player that plays for more than one team then the team with the oldest chronological season has first rights to that player. If that teams owner does not pick him during the first draft phase he loses his rights to that player and the other team can then draft the player during waviers! For example if Barry Bonds for pittsburg a nond you dont take him in the draft you lose him to San Francisco during WAIVERS!

The higher cap is to give managers flexibility since the player pool is limited it us just an idea to play by different and unique limitations!

If person has more than one card you can use any card but you must you a card that only applies to the team he played for. Example Manny Ramirez for Cleveland can only use Cleveland for Boston he would have to be Boston card
Same for McGuire oakland would use oakland version while st Louis would use saint Louis and so on!

Personally, I think you may have more luck filling this by making the combination selections by random number order, rather than first come, first serve. But that's just my two cents - I may be wrong.
