where things stand

We are trying to get as many people joined and as many leagues filled as possible through the end of today. By midnight (Central time = Chicago time), I may ask the league with the fewest members to disband and distribute those players to other leagues in need of players. The bottom line - if you are already in a league or listed as a closer, you will have a spot in the tournament; however, if you are in league 5, 8 or 9 you must check the message board to see if your league is being disbanded and you are being reassigned to a different league. If you are not a closer and are not in a league by midnight (CT) tonight, you may lose your spot. Closers will not lose their spot in the tournament.

Hi, Franky. Long time. Hope you've been well. Been out of Strat-O for a while. I thought the deadline was this Friday. Am I still OK for League 8 and the tournament? What do you need from me?

Right now, we are missing 8 + 1 = 9, with the one being scorehouse. He's 5th all-time in SOM teams with 1,414; so I got to figure this is an oversight and he'll join (please contact him, I can't believe no one is in a league with him). The other missing players are stratmaster, bustanutt, mazzterr, pats09, dl383, wjeanblanc, zanstrat, murph4, roodhome, diamonddave, and silentcal. Gbrookes has yet to close but has checked in.
So, other than closers, League 10 is missing 1, league 4 is missing scorehouse, league 1 is missing 2, league 8 is missing 2, league 2 is missing 2, and league 9 is missing 3.

7 are on the wait list and 2 have volunteered as fillers. That is 9. So, we are going to fill all 10 leagues. At about midnight central time, I'm going to assign the 7 on the wait list (that's in about 45 minutes for those of you watching at home).

League assignments

If any of the missing players from leagues 8, 2, and 9 they still can join (but I will fill those slots with anyone who wants to participate in the tournament).

I'll be unavailable Wednesday morning and afternoon. So, co-commissioners Falcon or Ducky can make rulings in my absence but closers are absolutely guaranteed a spot.
