Franchise ATG Season 5 needs 1 new GM

We are going strong. Playing Franchise ATG Season 4 right now using the specific cards.

For season 5 we will be using cards from 1901 or 1903 to and including 1920.
(Foul balls didn't count as strikes in the NL until 1901 and 1903 in the AL...so certain cards from the PreWW2 set have been banned)

This is not for anyone interested in a "set it and forget it" league, team or format.
All pitchers are limited to a maximum of 100% of their real life card innings!
All hitters are limited to a maximum of 120% of their real life card at bats!

You will need/want to micro-manage your pitching staff innings throughout the season for sure...especially your relievers.
I find myself going in daily and tweaking all my pitchers so I can stay usage compliant.
That may sound like a chore to some, but to all of us currently playing in our league...the strategy involved here with this task...we Love it!
You will feel like a daily active part of running a team.

This league is a blast because its not for the casual gamer.

It's a private password protected league...but since you are in for S5 ...I will text it to you.

We understand the possible need to use a asterisk starter/reliever as predominantly a reliever...but we have decided ...to officially ban using a asterisk starter capable player as a predominant reliever from now on in all our leagues going forward.

If HAL brings such a starter in, in relief, so be it, but please don't ever set a asterisk starter card up ...to be used as a part of your bullpen ...in any role.

Again...no pitcher card...that has asterisk starter on his card may be brought in as in...in a pitching preference bullpen role.
If HAL brings him in without a role that is legal.

This can be policed. And it is.
We can see relief bullpen roles as they are spelled out in the play by play.

You want to have a bullpen with some great asterisk starter reliever cards and set no bullpen roles and hope HAL uses your top asterisk starter relievers predominantly as relievers? This is legal.

Again, bullpen roles are banned for asterisk starter/relievers. Hal bringing them in without a role is legal.
