Hey guys ... I apologize for this, especially to GGYuppie.

I'm gonna be tied up badly with work and family stuff the next 3-4 days, so I wouldn't be able to do my team until Sunday at the earliest. Because of that I took my name off the 12th franchise in case you all want to go ahead and let someone else join who can move quicker.

Given the timing, I think you guys may be better off with someone else.

Again, I apologize.

I will add this ... if you guys don't mind a little uncertainty, I'm willing to do my team ASAP and be in the league.

It does seem like some fun.

Thanks for the post, Patrick. We've waited a while for this to fill, so if we get pushed back a week it won't be the end of the world. I'm really not sure whether everyone will form their team and be ready to load by Friday evening's deadline anyway, so loading when you can is fine. Just check in here when you can to get a sense of the momentum.

Question about ballparks:

The rule says "pick any ballpark." Does that mean any ballpark available in the Pre-WWII set? Or do we have to the confine our choice to ballparks from the deadball era only?
