Please someone in this group start a league and post the password. 70s, no DH, 80 mil, 5,10,20, advanced. The closers should be the last two in the league with an opening day of Jan 29. The other 10 owners can join any time prior to Jan 23.

First time as a closer. I have a guess as to what that means, but I don't want to mess it up. So what do I do exactly?

Being one of the closers (I'm the other one) simply means that we will wait until the other 10 teams are loaded into League 3 before we load our own teams. As the closers, we control exactly when the league is filled, and therefore when it is drafted. You and I will wait until we get confirmation from the commissioner, hopefully on Tuesday, which will be after every league has all of their 10 non-closer spots loaded, at which time we can load our own teams to fill our league and trigger the draft. In this manner, each of the 70's leagues in the tourney will get drafted more or less on the same day, and most importantly that each league will start play on the same day.

What Lee said is correct except you don't need to wait for the commissioner. Once 10 players are in - the closers have to double-check that those are the correct 10 players. If they are, then go ahead and close it out.

It looks like we are missing 3 teams before the closers can close.
