I won't be ready to load by tomorrow night so I don't think Patick should worry about slowing us down, filling this league has been like aging cheese!

The rule says "pick any ballpark." Does that mean any ballpark available in the Pre-WWII set? Or do we have to the confine our choice to ballparks from the deadball era only?

Thanks!

Good question, Kevin...pick any ballpark you like from the pre-WW2 set for season 1.

To reiterate for all, under the league rules, over the span of 4 seasons you can change parks once. Seasons 3 and 4 use the whole set, so the options open up considerably then.

My thinking is to try to maintain teams’ identities is some ways; thus the requirements for relative continuity in parks and town/team names, and staying in the same divisions, as we run through the 4 seasons.

Don't we want to make the league just preWW2 cards and password protect it?

Indeed we do. Here’s the parameters.

Season 1 – $80MM, Auto draft, Pre-WWII Set, No DH, 5% Drops

Please, someone set up a private league as above.

Call it PKL Season 1 or similar, and post the password here.

Thx!

Kaviksdad, you can just pull your team out of the one you created. Then you’ll have to change the player set for your team to pre WW11 and repopulate it. Then you join the private one, or create it if you’re first and want to. I’ll hopefully be ready to load my team tomorrow, Saturday latest. This one is taking some study!

Just want to make sure I'm on the same page with everyone else:

Does "deadball" include all players up to and including 1920?

Also, since Negro League players are excluded from Season 1, does that mean that Negro League baseball parks are also excluded from Season 1?

Thanks,

Thanks,
