Happy Opening Day!

I wanted to lay out a general time line just to make sure we are all on the same page. If anyone has any problems with any dates let me know and we can try to figure something out. I know a lot of people have spring vacations and last year we pushed everything back a bit so I am planning on following a similar schedule this year. Pushing this leagues draft back seems to help stagger everything for those involved in multiple leagues and I will be in spring training the week of 3/18-3/24 as well. Dates are subject to change since the official card release date isn’t exactly known, but we have a rough idea. The drafts will be run on the boards again this year.

Before we get to that though, please everyone check in:

Preliminary season outline:

3/1 - Online Cards drop.

3/18 - Roster drops due along with prospect promotions. Rosters must be down to 30 (or fewer) by 12:00 AM on 3/19. As a reminder any Spring 2016 Prospects must be promoted or released.

3/26- Anyone who is eligible to change stadiums and wishes to make a change must submit their request by 12:00 am on 3/26. The following owners are eligible for a stadium change: Smitty, Nythawk, Edub, Splinter, Peter, Dave. The following 3 owners will be eligible after season 1: Rosco, Turtle and MFL.

3/26 - FA draft begins. First round is a 24 hour clock. All subsequent rounds are on a 3 hour clock. Any player with MLB experience and not currently on another teams roster is eligible.

Day Following the end of the FA draft. - The prospect draft will begin, Rounds 1 and 2. 24 hour clock for round 1, 3 hour clock for round 2. Last year the FA draft started on 4/1 and ended 4/17 and the Prospect draft began on 4/13 and ended 4/19. If we roughly keep to that schedule, season 1 will begin on…

4/16 – Season 1 begins.

Please let me know if these dates don’t work for whatever reason, the sooner we can make the changes, the better off it is for everyone.
