While I'm sure there are more, I missed several worthy players:
1971 Ken Forsch, Astros 8-8 2.53 1.142 S/R. Career bests as a SP in ERA & H9. 2nd career best in WHIP. At 3L, Forsch is a good reverso RHP. Just 1 ATG card

1978 Ed Halicki, Giants 9-10 .474 2.85 1.060 Led N.L. with career best WHIP. Also had career bests in ERA, H9 & BB9. If you're like me and like finding a relatively unknown or forgotten pitcher with good numbers and turning him into a winner, then Halicki is your guy! Great and usable card! 1 ATG card

1978 Bob Knepper, Giants 17-11 2.63 1.165 Career bests in WINS & HR9. Second career bests in ERA, H9, with near career low WHIP. This would be Knepper's best Giants card.

1981 Bob Knepper, Astros 9-5 2.18 1.060 Career bests in ERA, WHIP, H9 & HR9 in strike shortened season. This would be Knepper's best Astros card.
1985 Bob Welch, Dodgers 14-4 2.31 1.052 Career bests in WHIP & BB9. 2nd career bests in ERA & H9.
See also 1978 Bob Welch, Dodgers 7-4 2.02 1.060 Career bests in ERA, H9 & HR9. 2nd career bests in WHIP & BB9. S/R pitched just 111 innings. Welch is a perfect example of SOM issuing what should be his best card, 1990 27-6 2.95 Cy Young, but it falls short of being representative of Welch's gaudy numbers. Both the '78 and '85 Welch would be 5 day starters.
1981 Burt Hooton, Dodgers 11-6 2.28 1.103 Career bests in ERA, BB9 & HR9 in strike shortened season. Hooton was renowned for his signature pitch, the knucklecurve.
