Why don't you remind everyone what happened the last time you called me out in 2010? You challenged me head to head. We drafted a league. And I beat you. Yawn. Forced you into retirement. Yawn. I guarantee this time won't be any different. Yawn.

I am going to hang around just long enough to watch this one play out. When will tickets go on sale, and will they be available online, or strictly through Ticketmaster?

In other news Sox040713 takes a 3-2 lead in Semi-finals 1. I'm speculating that we will need a Game 7 over there.

Chrissie Izbicki aka Weinberg aka Cristano1 and I competed in not one league but five in 2011-2012, not 2010, in ATG6 when I challenged him. I know this because all five teams of mine had the word Slimeberg in the team name. So easy to locate that way.

I had the better record in 4 of those 5 leagues.

90 vs 72
83 vs 108
93 vs 88

The first two times we competed in the BS finals I finished ahead of him both times. I believe there were three subsequent meetings in the regular BS tournament and I finished ahead 2 of the 3 times.

That is 10 leagues that I know of that we competed head to head. Results 8 times I had the better record, twice Mr. Slimeberg had the better record.

Anyone detect a trend?

No need for a tape measure. All the roids he took when he rode the bench for the Washington Huskies and in high school have probably taken their toll. Without Viagra, I'm guessing he's not even functional. That's probably why he chooses to live in Bangkok, he can at least measure up to the Thai ladyboys.

Care to place a wager on that one? Barnstormers finals gentleman's bet...

Metric 1: Number of wins
Metric 2: Farther in playoffs
Metric 3: Projected wins = (Runs Scored ^ 1.8) / (Runs Scored ^1.8 + Runs Allowed ^ 1.8)

If one of us wins all 3 metrics, then the loser has to create a new thread on the barnstormers message board and explain how badly he got his a** kicked in the barnstormers finals and fully admit the other manager is better. And also state that he is a loser. Even more of a loser than the loser's you already don't think deserve to be in the finals to begin with.

Anything less than dominating all three metrics, and there is no winner. We good? Or are you going to run away ashamed and disappear again for a few years? And then blame Moose or TSN for having the wrong tournament format for your liking?

I'd be happy to place a wager on the three metrics but if only one of us is a gentleman, we would need a different name for the bet.

As far as the outcome, how about the loser merely agrees to not play in next year's Barnstormers? In the unlikely event that hell freezes over and you actually manage a win you can always write some delusional crap about how much I suck and how invincible you are. Your track record against me suggests that you won't get the opportunity to crow, just to eat crow.

Anyone can win this, there are no incompetent managers in this show despite my unhappiness about the fairness of the qualifying protocol, but I am highly confident that it won't be you. I'd bet a five pack if there were a way to ensure that I get paid.

Rick: Am I correct in assuming that divisional assignments are 1, 4, 7, 10 for the East 2,5,8,11 for the Central and 3, 6, 9, 12 for the West?

It would be more fun if Izbicki were in my division but that doesn't appear to be in the cards. Too bad. He always loses when he is in my division. The East will be tough, Hallerose is a formidable opponent and the other two appear to be JohnnyBlazers and AndyCummings.

That works for me. Just want to know that his bet gets there ahead of mine.
