Geoff Zahn

So I have the 2.36 mil Geoff Zahn having a career year. He's 10-1 and has only allowed 7 homers and he is not in the Cy Young Award running and is not on the All-Star team (first or second team) but one of my relievers, Mariano Rivera is third in Cy Young voting and is on the first team All-Star team. What gives?

Mariano should get the Award by default regardless of his stats

I've never used Zahn, but he gets used a lot and seems to overachieve pretty regularly. I almost used him on my most recent team, but went to Alex Kellner at the last minute to save a few bucks.

2.36 million Zahn is an All-Star pitcher in $60 million leagues, and a great 3rd or 4th starter in $80 million leagues.

And obviously I jinxed Zahn by pointing out his success. He has lost his last two starts and is now 10-3. Rivera on the other hand has won two more games out of the pen and is now 6-0. Oh crap I just jinxed Mariano!!!
