Palmtana

I noticed we now have someone named Palmtana as moderator of the open forums. From his forum posts I assume he's primarily in 20XX leagues. Has anyone ever been in a league or interacted with him?

Recently the General Strategy forum (where I maintain the Strategy Forum/Newbie Advice Thread) was overrun with spam. SOM was slow to respond to my requests to clean it up. When SOM took over from TSN I was asked to be a moderator in the 20XX forum. Back then I didn't have the time. Now I do. So after this recent spate of spam I let SOM know I would be willing to help keep the boards free of it. That's my focus. PM me if you come across any.

Well, I should know better. I spent nearly 17 years living on Guam, and Spam, the Hormel kind, is a main dish in its island "cuisine". They have the world's largest K Mart open 24 hours a day, and one entire aisle in the store is devoted to over 20 different varieties of Spam. Amazing. Then there's this: "The tiny western Pacific island of Guam is far and away the world’s largest consumer of Spam. Today, Guam consumes more than 16 cans of Spam per person, per year — more than any other country or territory. In Guam, the salted pork shoulder in a can is central to local culture, with dozens of indigenous recipes calling for Spam."

I can certainly imagine with all of the weekly updates, new features being implemented, monthly lottery as well as the regularly scheduled card adds that it would be really difficult to keep up with any of the forum news. :?
