These franchise leagues are not for anyone interested in a "draft it, set it and forget it" team or format.
All pitchers are limited to a maximum of 100% of their real life card innings!
All hitters are limited to a maximum of 120% of their real life card at bats!

You will need to micro-manage your pitching staff innings throughout the season for sure...especially your relievers.
I find myself going in daily and tweaking all my pitchers and several hitting platoons so I can stay usage compliant.

That may sound like a chore to some, but to all of us currently playing in our league...the strategy involved here with this task...we Love it!
You will absolutely feel like a daily active part of running a team.

This league is a blast because its not for the casual gamer.
IT IS AN INTENSE challenge because of our format and card and usage restrictions.

We use a $77M total roster cap.

In addition to the strict card usage restrictions...

We have this rule...

Setting up to Use a asterisk starter capable player as a predominant reliever Is not allowed.

If HAL brings such a starter in, in relief, so be it, but setting up a asterisk starter card ...to be used as a part of your bullpen ...in any role... is banned.

Again...no pitcher card...that has asterisk starter on his card may be brought in as in...in a pitching preference bullpen role.
If HAL brings him in without a role that is legal.

This can be policed. And it is.
We can see relief bullpen roles as they are spelled out in the play by play.

You want to have a bullpen with some great asterisk starter reliever cards and set no bullpen roles and hope HAL uses your top asterisk starter relievers predominantly as relievers? This is legal.

Again, bullpen roles are banned for asterisk starter/relievers. Hal bringing them in without a role is legal.

Once we get to the playoffs...all card usage restrictions lifted.

In your auto draft list you must list the four players you drafted in the slow player draft...these 4 players must be your auto draft slots 25, 24, 23 and 22.

Effective S6...you may put such a pitcher in two roles...and only these two roles:
