Let's kick off our pre-season!

The draft order for round one of our two-round free-agent / franchise keeper claiming draft is below. Round 2 is serpentine.

Remember, FA's are not eligible as keepers, meaning any FA can be claimed by anyone.

Conversely, to qualify as a franchise keeper, the player must have been on your team for the duration of the 50's season, and be eligible for your franchise again in the 60's.

1. Braves (rynecrazy)
2. Cubs (kaviksdad)
3. Phillies (MisterG)
4. Cards (Drlanglo)
5. Red Sox (FrankM)
6. Dodgers (Bmilner)
7. Pirates (ggyuppie)
8. Tigers (drtripleb)
9. Reds (davesodu)
10. Giants (Andy C.) *
11. Indians (Bill1787) *
12. Yankees (thetallguy747)

* Giants and Indians finished with identical record. For tie-breaker, I looked at head-to-head record...Giants took 7 out of 12.

Since, my consolation prize for fielding the worst team in season one is picking first, are we ready to start the two round draft?

I wonder if all the league members are tuned in to the free agent draft for season two, at the current rate of one pick every day we will be lucky to stat by Memorial day. Bill

If you’re picking next (or on-deck) and you need significantly more time, please post here so everyone knows what to expect. Thanks!

Anyone contact MisterG? He may not be paying attention with his team out of the playoffs.
