Yeah, knowing Castillo would be gone, I was debating between Hoskins and Olson, neither of them needed for the upcoming season, so went with who I consider the better long term player as opposed to who had the better card. In hindsight, I probably should have just kept Devers, who I believe will be a better long term player than Hoskins. Sometimes, the rush of an offseason trade in the middle of a cold winter gets the best of me.

I think you got a great player in Hoskins. Meaning more than just one season. Even though I needed Olson and his left-handed bat, Hoskins is clearly the better player when considering the whole offensive picture - power plus BA and OBP. And Hoskins can play the outfield too![/quote

Well, he's off to a great start anyway. I have no misconceptions of my 1st season prospects in this league, they are little to none. But, I am hoping that in a weaker division season 2, I can sneak into the playoffs where strange things always happen.

Are both available for FA (or prospect) picks

Open offers on both. Basically at the beginning of any round if you prefer one of them to what is available simply post the deal and I will confirm.

For example if it was round 4 and you were looking for a RF and prefer Cargo to what’s available with your pick just post the deal and I will confirm it once I see it.
Offers are open until they are not.

Or what about a one 6th pick for both of them right now?

East coast. 10am to 10pm EDT, 3hours to make a pick, at least I think that's what you are asking.

Was the clock on at 10am, edt today?

Seeing as this is getting drawn out, I'm moving discussion to the chat thread.

Yes. Once round one was completed the clock turns on at 10am. I don't always get to a computer at 10am to indicate as such, but be that as it may, Monday through friday it turns on at 10am. Today lakeviewdave was on the clock when the clock turned on, he had until 1pm to make a pick. He picked at 11:32 ( I believe) at which point whoever followed had had 3 hours, or until 2:32 to make their pick. If they picked prior to 2:32, the next person had three hours from the post time.

Clock will roll over, so right now Aray has 1 hour and 9 minutes of today's clock and assuming he doesn't pick he will finish his 3 hour slot tomorrow starting at 10am, so he ahs until 11:51 am to pick

So you're saying you started the clock before round one was finished?

5) There is no clock for Round 1 of each Annual Free Agent draft. All subsequent rounds will operate with a 3 hour clock. Back to back picks results from trades do not result in a 6 hour clock. I f one owner holds 2 picks back to back the total time for both picks is 3 hours.

No I made a mistake using lakeviewdave in my previous explanation. I should have said roscodog and 11:42.

The clock went on as soon as dave's pick was posted. So Roscodog has 3 hours from 11:32EDT to make his pick, he had until 2:32EDT. however he picked at 11:42, so whoever followed him then had three hours or until 2:42pm.

That make sense??

ehlekev then picked at 12:23, at which point you had three hours to make your pick, or until 3:23. Mike pick at 3:31, waiting 3 hours and 8 minutes.

And I didn't get notice of when we'd be put on the clock.

I had no chance to give my proxies. Because when I left my computer today there was no clock. Why would I.
