2018 Mystery Tourney - Finals Live Draft

We have no plans to skip anyone, but it would be nice if every owner could check this page at least a couple times a day for the next week. When everyone is on top of the draft, we should be able to do 1-2 rounds per day and be done in about one week. Thanks.

I check in just about every hour on weekends and hourly after noon on most weekdays.

I am checking in, and I will keep checking in... I am ready to go and I do not want to be skipped.

Hopefully there won't be any more rule changes or problems, but if you are going to change the rules, again, do it before we start!

RB - Hoping no one takes your stadium before its your turn. I'm interested to see which stadium you're interested in and why as have always tried to base the stadium on my players but guess you're doing it more realistically.

Also, I am gathering that the two Moody's are different people? I was thinking one was a filler team but apparently not -- R you guys related in some way?

Man, it started so promising but my draft weekend turned into the twilight zone. A lot of time to prove there's a wide gulf between myself and the veterans but I imagine it will pick up at some point? What a great argument for strato getting a live draft system in place. Haven't wasted this much time since college.

What about a text chain or something like that? Text the guy after you that he's on the clock once you've taken your pick? I'm all for baseball and leisurely but live draft and leisurely don't compute too well to my small brain. There's got to be a solution - I saw last year's was a cluster too but what do you guys normally do in this situation?

It usually takes 2-3 days to get through round 1 and then it speeds up.

TIMOTHYFOSTER, the two "Moody"s are indeed different people! I've wanted to ask Moodywoody the origins of his name... mine is that when I started strat online, I was a resident of Moody, Maine, a small sliver of a town in the southern part of the state between Ogunquit and Wells (my current home). And my favorite team growing up (mid 70's) was the Joe Torre Mets (go figure...). If you see my strat teams history, you'll notice I was online early enough to play one (really horrendous) season in the old ATG I, still miss the old Blanchard and Alou cards... anyway, that's my side of the story. Hey there - Appreciate the info -- Lots of mind wandering in 24 hours of refreshing the same page. Obviously know now that was overkill on my part but interesting as assumed it was the same person, than maybe family members and shows what good assuming does. Good Luck to you as well the rest of the way and good to know it will pick up soon -- is already doing so. Thanks again and interesting to see similarities and differences if Moody is willing to share his side.
