Hope the references in the above post was not to my last trade?
No, this was due to the Judge trade. Champ ended up with Harper/Judge/Trout outfield. Champ made out pretty well getting Judge/Machado. However, Tanner ended up with Severino, Yelich, Realmuto, Bauer, and Carpenter.
Machado having a monster year and Judge is as expected.
Severino/Bauer is so far a pair of SP studs who might be a #1 and #2 * pitcher duo next year
Yelich is Yelich and Realmuto is having his best season.
The aging Carpenter is the only early season dud so far.
Here is the trade comparison so far in 2018:
CHAMP got:
Judge - .290, .419, .590
Machado - .329, .398, .626 (Monster season!)
TANNER got:
Severino - 2.31 ERA, 0.97 WHIP - at this pace would have a * next season
Yelich - .304, .377, .486
Realmuto - .313, .373, .535
Bauer - 2.61 ERA, 1.13 WHIP - also could have a * next season
Carpenter - .223, .335, .425 (only bust player in the trade-but is hitting better as of late)
