The league filled as I was reading your post Huckleberry. In the future, from any of your team pages click on Community and then on League Directory to see what leagues are available.

The list is a bit overwhelming. A lot of the leagues should be deleted to make it more readable.

If you are just starting out, assuming you want to play the current set and not the ATG (All Time Greats) set, join Autoleague 437448 for the 2017 game. Currently there is 1 manager in the league but it should fill with 12 fairly quickly.
