New player...2017 or 2017 unleashed?

Id like to avoid fluke cards tilt the competive balance towards people who know which cards are unreasonably good...as in the case of the 2018 daily cards. Do the fluke cards make a huge difference? Am I better off going with the 2017 unleashed for a league choice?

If you're trying to avoid fluke cards, then don't play unleashed.

Incidentally, if you do decide to play the 2018 Daily game, and you join a rookie league, 6 of the other teams will be computer-controlled "bot" teams... and you'll DESTROY them, because they can't make transactions (they end up with a bunch of underperforming or injured players that they can't get rid of.) So that just leaves 5 human opponents, and they'll be around the same experience level as yourself. Just something to think about.
